gobble, gobble

this year, my husband and i did a quiet thanksgiving at home, just the two of us. it was a peaceful, mellow day full of love, a couple bottles of fruity pinot noir and delicious food.

it was exactly what we needed.

**au gratin potatoes with local peppercorn cheese from pedrozo dairy + cheese co., thyme, sage and gruyere

**sauteed brussel sprouts with red pearl onions and bacon, drizzled with local pomegranate balsamic vinegar

**honey -thyme brined all natural turkey breast rubbed with thyme + sage + olive oil

**homemade stuffing with local llano seco rancho sausage (homemade!), apples, golden raisins and sage

**mini pecan pie/mini dutch apple pie from upper crust bakery
