i was in folsom house and dog sitting for some friends this weekend, and as i was cruising around doing a little shopping, i came across home goods. now, if you know of home goods, you know about all it's awesomeness. it is a sister store to tj maxx and marshalls, but its focus is on home decor. when we lived in sacramento, i pretty much decorated our entire apartment with their goodies.
it's the perfect place to decorate a house on a budget, they add new stock every day so what you see on the shelves is constantly changing, and they have lots of cute and unique decor items (towels, rugs, chairs, art, mirrors, candles, kitchen ware +++) really, anything you could want for your home! and at a deep discount.
i love you, home goods (shhhh...don't tell the mister).
as a food blogger, i am always on the search for charming props for my photos. home goods is great for inexpensive plates, napkins, runners and other kitchen stuff that helps to make my photos look unique.
i picked up 5 sweet little plates for under $15. seriously.
we don't have a home goods in our little northern cali town, but there is one in folsom, vacaville and elk grove.
next time you are in one of those areas, hit them up and i bet you will find something you love!
